Reports concerning cases of toxic or unhealthy relationships among Campus students in the Country have been rampant in the current years .While many many people establish relationships and find love in the institutions of higher learning ,Campus relationships are the main cause of of this unfortunate predicarment.Toxic or unhealthy relationship can be defined as a relationship where one partner control aspects of the other partner's life and can be abusive in apsychological ,physical or sexual way.The person getting abused can be described as the victim .
Consequently There are several factors which influence toxic relationships among campus intimate partners among them lack of trust ,Infidelity and alcohol and drug abuse among others.As a consequence of being in a toxic relationship many students both male and female find themselves with serious injuries ,disability or sometimes even loosing their lives.At the same time many Victims of campus toxic relationships often suffer from low self esteem and poor academic performance simply because they are unable to put their concentration in their studies.
Given these effects one may questions why anyone would remain in these campus toxic relationships .One reason people stay in an unhealthy or toxic relationship is because they do not think they will get justice from their partners.Another reason is because the victim always know their abusers well and is reluctant to report this person and get this person in trouble .
In conclusion Toxic Campus relationships among Students is very prevalent.The main Factors that influence partners to be toxic are mainly infidelity,mistrusts, and alcohol and drug abuse.Although there are structures in place that can help survivors of these kind of relationships There needs to be effective and clear laws that hinder toxic relationships among students in the institutions of higher learning.
